Wash and peel the pears. Cut the pears in half lengthwise and remove all of the core and seeds inside of the pears.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then run the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the pears in a large bowl. Stir together maple syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour this mixture over the pears and gently stir them to coat them.
Place the pears in a single layer in the air fryer. You may have to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-12 minutes until the pears are golden brown and caramelized.
Carefully remove the pears from the air fryer and serve with the toppings of your choice.
