Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pecan Halves
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Add 2 tablespoons water, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar has dissolved.
  • Add 2 cups pecan halves to the skillet. Stir gently to coat the pecans evenly in the brown sugar mixture.
  • Continue cooking the pecans for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are completely coated and the glaze has thickened.
  • Transfer the pecans to the prepared baking sheet. Use a fork to separate any pecans that are sticking together.
  • Let the pecans cool completely at room temperature. The glaze will firm up as the pecans cool.
  • Once completely cooled, serve and enjoy.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or store in the refrigerator for a few weeks.
