Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can of Crushed Pineapple with juice
  • 21 oz. can of cherry pie filling
  • 1 box of Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 stick unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Pour 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple with the juice into a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  • Spoon 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling evenly over the crushed pineapple.
  • Sprinkle 1 box yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling, making sure the fruit is completely covered.
  • Cut 1 stick unsalted butter into small cubes and distribute the butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
  • Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling around the edges.
  • Allow the dump cake to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
