  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Optional Toppings
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped topping

Instructions

  • Lightly spray your slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner.
  • Prepare the brownie batter according to the package directions.
  • Pour batter into the slow cooker and spread evenly.
  • In a bowl, whisk together chocolate syrup and hot water.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture evenly over the batter (do not stir).
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2½–3 hours, until edges are set and the center is still soft.
  • Turn off the slow cooker and let sit uncovered for 30 minutes to thicken.
  • Spoon into bowls and serve warm with toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Don’t stir after adding the chocolate layer — that’s what makes the gooey and delicious  center.
Check at 2½ hours since slow cookers can cook differently.
Let it rest before serving for the perfect fudgy texture.
Use a liner or generous spray for easy cleanup.
