Halloween Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These Halloween Chocolate Covered Strawberries are so fun to make. Get the whole family involved to make these spooky strawberries for a fun Halloween tradition.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg package strawberries washed and dried
  • Orange candy wafers
  • White candy wafers
  • Purple candy wafers
  • Green candy wafers
  • Black gel icing tube
  • Mini milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Rinse berries and pat dry
  • Melt wafers in microwave safe bowls according to package directions
  • Lay out a piece of parchment paper to set dripped berries
  • For the Mummies: Dip berry in melted white wafers. Place on parchment paper and allow chocolate to set.
  • Once the chocolate has set, fill up a piping bag with the same white melted wafers and drizzle in straight lines back and forth, across the berry.
  • Allow to dry, then with using the black gel tube, mark three dots to represent the eyes and mouth.
  • For the Frankenstein’s: Dip berry in melted green wafers.
  • Place on parchment paper and quickly add one mini milk chocolate chip to either side of the berry for the bolts. Once the chocolate has set, add eyes, mouth, and forehead scar using a black gel icing tube.
