Ingredients

  • ½ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet, dark, milk, whatever you like best
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Place the ½ cup chocolate chips, 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, and ¼ cup unsalted butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  • Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Do not boil.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir for another minute to ensure the sauce is fully combined.
  • Let the chocolate sauce cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean jar or airtight container.
