Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

My kids go crazy over Ice cream cone cupcakes. They are so fun and festive.  We have the best tips and tricks to make this tasty recipe.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix up the funfetti cake mix based on the back of the package instructions.
  • Then place the ice cream cone in a muffin tin. I placed 1 cone in each tin to help keep them upright while baking.
  • Pour the cake batter into the ice cream cones filling them up approximately 1/2 way. You can use a piping bag to fill up the cones or use a spoon.
  • Bake for 18-21 minutes until the cake is slightly brown on top of the ice cream cones.
  • Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
  • Dye the frosting if you prefer.
  • Frost the top of each cone with the icing and use a piping bag to make it look like the top of an ice cream cone.
  • Top with the sprinkles and enjoy!

Notes

The recipe can easily be used with your favorite flavor of cake mix and icing!
