Jello Popcorn Recipe

Jello Popcorn Recipe is a sweet treat that is super easy and so tasty. The delicious popcorn is flavored with your favorite Jello and only calls for 5 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 12 cups Popcorn Popped
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 Box Jello 3 oz box - flavor of your choice

Instructions

  • Pop the popcorn and remove all the unpopped kernels. Place the popcorn in a large bowl.  Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F.
  • In a medium saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat until melted.  Then whisk in the sugar and light corn syrup. Then stir in the jello mix.
  • Bring the mixture to a low boil and boil for 4-5 minutes.  Pour the mixture over the popcorn and gently toss the popcorn to coat it with the mixture.
  • Spread the popcorn out on a baking sheet (you may need 2 sheets) and bake for 40 minutes, stirring the popcorn every 10 minutes.
  • Allow the popcorn to cool on the baking sheet.  Once cooled, break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

I used microwave popcorn for this recipe, but you can definitely use whichever is your favorite! 
You can store the leftovers at room temperature in an airtight container or bag for up to 1 week.
