Ingredients

Cookies:

  • 1 box butter cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup butter melted

Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping:

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, and melted butter until fully combined. The dough will be thick.
  • Scoop dough using a medium cookie scoop and place on a prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  • Bake for 7–8 minutes.
  • Cool on a baking sheet for 4–5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Glaze:

  • In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  • Cook over medium-low heat, whisking constantly, until sugar is dissolved (about 4 minutes). Do not boil.
  • Spoon about 1 teaspoon glaze over each cookie.
  • Let glaze set, then dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
