Leprechaun Bait

Leprechaun Bait is a fun and tasty treat. It is a sweet and salty blend of Lucky Charms, Chex Cereal, Pretzels and more. Everything is coated in melted white chocolate for an easy no baking recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup Lucky Charms Cereal
  • 1 cup Lucky Charms Cereal Marshmallows Only
  • 3 cups Chex rice or corn
  • 1 cup M&M’s dark chocolate mint M&Ms
  • 1 pkg White Baking Chips 12 oz
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the Chex, Lucky Charms Cereal, ½ of the marshmallows, pretzels and 1/2 of the M&Ms.
  • Place the white chocolate and the vegetable oil in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Microwave for 1 minute. Stir and then melt in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the white chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Be careful not to overcook.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal/candy mixture in the large bowl and stir until well coated.
  • Then pour the coated mixture onto a piece of wax or parchment paper, sprinkle the remaining M&Ms and marshmallows on top and allow to set until hardened (at least 15 minutes).
  • Break into pieces and it’s ready to serve.

Notes

Store the leftovers in an airtight container or ziplock bag for up to 5 days.
