Lunch Lady Brownies

Lunch Lady Brownies are easy to make and so moist while being packed with chocolate. These homemade brownies are topped with decadent chocolate frosting for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

For the Brownies:

  • 1 cup Salted Butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract

For the Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter softened
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

Instructions

For the Brownies:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9X13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter and unsweetened cocoa powder.  Then stir in the flour and sugar.
  • Add in the eggs and vanilla extract.  Mix until just combined but do not over mix.
  • Pour this mixture into the prepared baking pan.  Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.

For the Frosting:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together all the frosting ingredients until smooth.
  • Let the brownies cool for 15-20 minutes.  Spread the frosting on top of the brownies.
  • Let the brownies cool completely. Cut, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store the leftover brownies in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days.
