Instructions

  • Line a 9 x9-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth and fully melted.
  • Mix in the marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, and nuts (if using).
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until completely set.
  • Once set, lift the parchment paper out of the pan, transfer the fudge to a flat surface, and cut into small squares for serving.

Notes

No candy thermometer needed to make this fudge but make sure to boil the mixture for the entire 4 minutes.
Storage: Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Place parchment or wax paper between layers to prevent sticking.
For longer freshness, keep in the fridge for up to 2 to 3 weeks. Make sure it’s in a tightly sealed container to avoid absorbing odors.
