Ingredients

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mat
  • In a large bowl, creamy together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy
  • Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until well combined
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cloves
  • Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients until well combined
  • Stir in oats and raisins until well combined. Dough will be thick.
  • Drop by tablespoon or cookie dough scoop onto prepared cookie sheets
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden
  • Remove from oven to cooling rack
  • Store in airtight container
