- 3 cans peaches in heavy syrup 14-15 ounces each
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature sliced into 24 slices

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Pour 2 cans (14–15 ounces each) of peaches with the heavy syrup into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Drain 1 can (14–15 ounces) of peaches and add only the peaches to the baking dish. Stir to combine.
In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 box yellow cake mix and 1 teaspoon apple pie spice. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the peaches.
Lightly pat the cake mix mixture down over the peaches. Slice 1/2 cup unsalted butter into 24 thin slices and place evenly over the top of the cake mix.
Bake for 50–60 minutes or until the top is deep golden brown and the peaches are bubbly around the edges.
Let the dump cake sit for 15 minutes before serving.
