This Popcorn Balls Recipe is great for the holidays, a party or family get together. There are tons of ways to switch up this recipe to make it work for anytime of the year!
Lightly spray a large roasting pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add 12 cups popped popcorn and warm in a 200°F oven.
In a 2-quart heavy saucepan, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 3 tablespoons butter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Continue boiling and stirring for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pour the syrup mixture over the warm popcorn and stir until evenly coated. If desired, mix in sprinkles or add-ins.
Allow mixture to cool slightly until safe to handle. Lightly spray hands with nonstick spray and shape into 12 popcorn balls, about 3 inches each. Let cool completely, then wrap individually in plastic wrap.

You can mix in sprinkles, m&ms, chocolate chips, food coloring, or anything fun you want to add in.
