Ingredients

  • 12 cups Popcorn Popped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup karo light corn syrup
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Lightly spray a large roasting pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add 12 cups popped popcorn and warm in a 200°F oven.
  • In a 2-quart heavy saucepan, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 3 tablespoons butter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Continue boiling and stirring for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pour the syrup mixture over the warm popcorn and stir until evenly coated. If desired, mix in sprinkles or add-ins.
  • Allow mixture to cool slightly until safe to handle. Lightly spray hands with nonstick spray and shape into 12 popcorn balls, about 3 inches each. Let cool completely, then wrap individually in plastic wrap.

Notes

You can mix in sprinkles, m&ms, chocolate chips, food coloring, or anything fun you want to add in.
