- 12 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
- 6 Tablespoons Butter
- (2) 10 ounce package of Marshmallows
- 4 ounces Red Candy Melts
- 4 ounces Blue Candy Melts
- 4 ounces White Candy Melts
- Red White and Blue Star Sprinkles Optional
Get Recipe Ingredients
Spray a 9X13 pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
Melt the butter on low heat in a large saucepan.
Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat and gradually add in the rice krispies cereal. Mix until completely coated.
Spread evenly in prepared pan.
Allow to cool completely and then cut into rectangle pieces.
Place the candy melts in 3 separate microwave save bowls.
Microwave each bowl in 30 second increments or until the candy melt is completely melted. Stir until smooth. Dip a half of 1/3 of the rice krispie treats into the each candy of the candy melts.
Place the rice krispie treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. With a fork drizzle with the other colors or tops with the star sprinkles.
Allow to set at room temperature until the candy melt hardens. Enjoy!
