DESSERTS ON A DIME
Skip the box mixes and make these amazing vanilla cupcakes from scratch.
Prep Time: 15 Min
– 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour – 2 ½ tsp baking powder – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 tsp salt – 4 eggs room temperature – 1 ½ cup granulated sugar – 3 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1 cup cooking oil vegetable – 1 cup buttermilk
cook time: 12 min
Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350F and fill pan with liners. Whisk flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add sugar.
Add oil and vanilla extract, combine. Add dry ingredients with buttermilk Beat until well combined. Divide into cupcake liners, 2/3 full.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely and frost
In a mixing bowl, cream the butters and shortening until smooth. Mix vanilla extract and milk together. Add powdered sugar.
Swirl frosting to create the rose. Serve and enjoy! Your family will love it!
