DESSERTS ON A DIME

– 1 box White Cake Mix – Non Alcoholic Margarita Mix – 4 Tbsp Tequila divided – 2 Limes zested, divided -- 1 can Condensed Milk -- 1 Lime juiced
Prepare the cake mix based. Use the margarita mix instead of water and add in 2 Tbsp of Tequila and 1 of lime zest.
Pour into a prepared 9X13 baking pan and bake based on the package instructions.
Let the cake cool and then poke holes throughout the cake using the round end of a wooden spoon.
Then whisk together sweetened condensed milk with tequila and lime juice. Pour this mixture into the cake.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Mix the whipped topping with the margarita mix. Spread this topping on the cake.
Top with the remaining lime zest and lime wedges. Enjoy!
The lemon lime flavor will be enhanced if allowed to chill properly in the fridge
Poke holes all over the cake. You want holes generously placed.
Refrigerate any leftovers of the cake covered for up to 5 days.
