DESSERTS ON A DIME
The filling is ooey gooey and bakes into a decadent dessert.
Prep Time: 10 Min
– 1 cup sugar – ¼ cup flour – 5 tbsp butter grated – frozen pie crust – 1 can can Sprite – 2 tsp vanilla extract
Cook Time: 1 HOUR
Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 400F. – Get the pie crust out of the freezer. Pour the Sprite into the pie shell.
Combine the sugar and flour. Sprinkle the mixture. Disperse this mixture all over the Sprite in the pie crust.
Next, add the vanilla to the pie. Sprinkle this on top evenly.
Grate the butter. Then sprinkle butter on top of the pie. Cover the pie. Use foil to cover the pie and cut an x in the foil.
The pie needs to bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, reduce to 375. Bake for an additional 30 minute
After the pie has sufficiently cooled, place in the fridge so the pie can solidify.
Serve with whipped topping.
Don’t cut the pie until it has had sufficient time to cool and chill in the fridge.
It is important to completely cover the pie while baking
You can make a water pie simply by substituting water for the Sprite.
