Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon divided
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup Sugar

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add the water, butter, ¼ tsp of the cinnamon and salt.  Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.  Then reduce the heat to low.
  • Slowly add in the flour until a ball is formed.  Then remove the saucepan from the heat and cool for 5 minutes. Then add the eggs into the mixture one at a time and stir until they are all combined.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Attach a large star tip to a piping bag and spoon the dough mixture into the piping bag.  Pipe 3-4 inch long strips of dough onto the baking sheet (cut the dough with a knife or kitchen scissors).  Repeat the process until all the churros are formed.  Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F.  Remove the churros from the baking sheet and place them in the air fryer basket at least 1 inch apart.  Air Fry at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until the churros are golden brown.
  • Then in a small shallow dish, combine the sugar and the remaining cinnamon.
  • Roll the churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture while they are still warm.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
