In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, stir together the milk, eggs, cooled butter and vanilla extract.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until a loose dough is formed. Then carefully fold in the diced apples.
Heat approximately 3 inches of the oil in a large pot until its approximately 350 degrees F.
Drop approximately 1/4 cup of the batter into the oil, spreading it out as you put it into the oil. Fry for approximately 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and fry the other side as well until golden brown (2-3 minutes). A knife inserted into the center of the fritter should come out clean. Then carefully remove the fritter from the oil with a slotted spoon to a paper towel lined plate. Let the fritters cool completely.
Mix together the glaze ingredients in a bowl. Dip the fritters in the glaze to covered them with the glaze and place them on a wire rack to dry.
Then the fritters are ready to serve and enjoy!
