Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups white granulated sugar
  • ½ cup salted butter softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 3 cups white flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar.
  • Add the eggs one at a time and vanilla extract to the creamed sugar. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and homogenous.
  • Add the buttermilk and mashed bananas. Whisk the mixture again for about 30 seconds.
  • Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cinnamon until no clumps of dry ingredients remain in the cake batter.
  • Carefully pour the cake batter into the prepped Bundt pan and bake the cake for 45 minutes.
  • The cake should cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
  • Frost the cake as desired after cooling completely. Serve the cooled cake and enjoy!
