Ingredients

  • 4 Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter melted
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place the bananas in a large mixing bowl and mash them bananas.
  • Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  • Slowly whisk the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined and there are no lumps.
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Closely watch the bread and if the top starts getting too brown, lightly tint the bread with foil.
  • Let the pan cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes and then carefully remove the bread from the loaf pan and let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Then the bread is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4-5 days.
