Ingredients

  • 1 Devils Food Cake Mix
  • 21 oz. cherry pie filling
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. almond extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 Devil’s Food cake mix, 21 ounces cherry pie filling, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon almond extract.
  • Beat the ingredients together for 1–2 minutes until fully combined. For larger cherry pieces, stir the batter together by hand instead of using a mixer.
  • Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving. Frost with your favorite frosting, top with whipped cream, or serve with ice cream if desired.
