Easy Chocolate Covered Cherries Recipe is quickly made with a few baking staples. This decadent treat with a tasty cherry mixture is coated in milk chocolate.
Drain the cherries from the jar and reserve the cherry juice from the jar.
Dry the cherries as much as possible using paper towels.
În a medium size mixing bowl, stir together 3 cups of powdered sugar, butter and 1/4 cup Cherry juice. Then gradually add in the last cup of powdered sugar until a dough forms. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
Roll the dough out into approximately 1 inch size balls. Flatten out the dough balls.
Then fold a flatten dough ball around a cherry and roll it out with your hands to make it smooth.
Place the cherries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
Place the chocolate and oil in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Then dip each of the cherries in the melted chocolate (holding them by the stems). Allow the excess chocolate to drip off and then place the cherry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat this process until all the cherries have been coated with the chocolate.
Let the cherries sit at room temperature until the chocolate is set (approximately 30-60 minutes).
Then the cherries are ready to serve and enjoy!
