- (1) 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 cup light or dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
In a large bowl, mix eggs, corn syrup, sugar, chips, butter and vanilla until well blended.
Stir in pecans.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Allow it to cool for an hour before cutting
