Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  • Whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan.
  • Whisk in milk and bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Allow to gently boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Allow the mixture to come to room temperature completely (stir it occasionally to keep it from forming on top of the pudding).
  • Chill the pudding.  Serve cold and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
