Cinnamon Buttercream

Cinnamon Buttercream elevates classic buttercream to a new level. It has the perfect hint of cinnamon and pairs with Pumpkin Cake, Carrot Cake Cupcakes and more. With only 5 ingredients, anyone can easily make this.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 5-6 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Milk

Instructions

For the Cupcakes:

  • Beat together the butter and vanilla extract with a hand held or stand up mixer until thoroughly combined.
  • Add in the cinnamon.  Stir until combined.
  • Mix in the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until combined.
  • Slowly add the milk until the frosting is the consistency that you prefer.
  • Chill until ready to use and then the frosting is ready to enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers, covered, for up to 5 days.
