How to Make Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting
Step 1. First, beat the butter and add the vanilla to the stand mixer. Combine with a paddle attachment until mixed together.
Step 2. Next, add the teaspoons cinnamon and combine the batter using medium speed.
Step 3. Then, gradually add the powder sugar to the mixture. Mix until combined and scrape the sides of the bowl.
Step 4. Add the milk slowly until the texture is the desired consistency.
Step 5. Refrigerate the frosting until ready to use.
Step 6. Pipe the frosting on to cupcakes or spread on cake layers as desired.
Tips for Success
- Softened Butter. It will be easier to cream the butter if it is softened. The consistency will also be smoother.
