Cinnamon Roll Bread

Ingredients

For the Bread:

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoons Cinnamon

For the Glaze Topping:

  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X5 loaf pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Then mix in the egg, milk and vegetable oil until just combined.  Be careful not to over mix the batter.
  • In a small bowl stir together the cinnamon swirl ingredients. Set aside.
  • Pour half of the batter into a loaf pan.  Sprinkle half of the swirl mixture on top.  Swirl it into the batter with a knife.
  • Pour the remaining batter on top and top with the remaining swirl mixture.  Swirl it into the batter again with a knife.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven, let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then move it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Mix together the glaze topping ingredients and drizzle this mixture over the bread once it has fully cooled at room temperature.
  • Then the bread is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers at room temperature in an airtight container or bag for up to 5 days.
