Line an 8X8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
Place the chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl. Heat for 20 seconds, stir, and then continue to heat in 15 second intervals until the chocolate chips are fully melted.
Stir the Cool Whip into the melted chocolate chips with a rubber spatula and until combined. The mixture will be thick.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and flatten the mixture out into the bottom of the pan.
Freeze the mixture for 30 minutes until solid.
Gently remove from the pan and cut into approximately 36 square pieces. Place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and freeze for 30 more minutes.
Melt the chocolate wafers in a separate bowl based on the package instructions.
Then remove the candy from the freezer and dip it into the melted chocolate with 2 forks and gently tap the forks on the edge of the bowl to knock off any excess chocolate from the candy.
Place the candy back on the baking sheet to set.
Continue this process until all the candies are covered in the chocolate.
Place the baking sheet back into the freezer for 20-30 minutes until the chocolate is fully set and then the candy is ready to serve and enjoy!
