Fried Honey Buns

Ingredients

  • 6 Honey Buns
  • 1 1/2 cups Pancake Mix
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vegetable Oil plus more for frying
  • Powdered Sugar for serving

Instructions

  • Heat 3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium high heat until it’s approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place the pancake mix, egg, milk and 2 teaspoons vegetable oil in a bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Dip each of the honey buns into the batter, then place in the oil.
  • Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, turning occasionally, until golden brown all over. Be careful not to over cook.
  • Then move the fried honey buns to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the excess oil.
  • Serve dusted with powdered sugar and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
