Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sweetened condensed milk with the cold water and pudding mix until well combined.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the pudding to thicken.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with a stand up mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently stir the homemade whipped cream into the pudding.
  • This dessert can be prepared in individual serving bowls or a large glass bowl or trifle dish.
  • Arrange 1/3 of the Nilla wafers in the serving dish of your choice.  Then layer 1/3 of the sliced bananas on top and 1/3 of the pudding mixture.  Continue this process 2 more times.  Top with vanilla wafers or crushed wafers.
  • Cover the serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Then the pudding is ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Serve within 8 hours of making this pudding as the bananas will start to brown slightly.  Also, you can use slightly under-ripe bananas for this pudding to make sure that they do not go bad before serving.
