Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

Pure maple syrup with the combination of cream cheese makes the best Maple Cream Cheese Frosting. Use it to top all of your baked goods for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup Butter softened
  • 3-4 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

Instructions

  • Beat together the butter and cream cheese until the mixture is combined and creamy with a hand held mixer or stand up mixer.
  • Scrape down the sides and then mix in the maple syrup and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Slowly add in the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until the frosting is light and fluffy but can still hold its shape.  You may not need all the powdered sugar.
  • Then the frosting is ready to use on your favorite cakes and cupcakes and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
