Pure maple syrup with the combination of cream cheese makes the best Maple Cream Cheese Frosting. Use it to top all of your baked goods for a decadent dessert.
Beat together the butter and cream cheese until the mixture is combined and creamy with a hand held mixer or stand up mixer.
Scrape down the sides and then mix in the maple syrup and vanilla extract until combined.
Slowly add in the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until the frosting is light and fluffy but can still hold its shape. You may not need all the powdered sugar.
Then the frosting is ready to use on your favorite cakes and cupcakes and enjoy!
