Margarita Pie

This no bake Margarita Pie is a creamy dessert with fresh lime juice, tequila and triple sec. It is a refreshing treat with very little prep work involved.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made Graham Cracker Pie Crust 9 inch
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream chilled
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk 14 oz
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Zest Divided
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Tequila Blanco
  • 1 Tbsp Triple Sec

Instructions

  • Use a hand held or stand up mixer to whip the heavy cream into stiff peaks.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, 1 Tbsp of the Lime zest, tequila and triple sec.  Then gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture until just incorporated (do not over mix).
  • Then pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and sprinkle the remaining lime zest on top.  Freezer for at least 6 hours but overnight is preferred.
  • When serving, allow the pie to sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes and then it’s ready to slice and serve.

Notes

*Store the leftover pie covered in the freezer for up to 2 months. 
*To make an alcohol free pie, you can easily leave the tequila and triple sec out and add in 3 more Tbsp of lime juice instead.  
*This pie can easily be made 3 days before serving.
