Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Melted Butter
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup melted butter, 4 large eggs, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  • Add ⅔ cup cocoa powder, 1 cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon baking powder. Stir by hand just until the dry ingredients are incorporated. Do not overmix.
  • Gently fold ¾ cup chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the brownies are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake.
  • Allow the brownies to cool before slicing into 9 servings.
