Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter softened
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar divided
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, cream cheese and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until combined and fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla.  Mix until combined.
  • Then turn the mixer down to low and gradually add in the flour, baking powder and 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar.
  • Using a large cookie scoop (1 1/2- 2 tablespoons size) scoop the dough into round bowls and roll them in the remaining powdered sugar.
  • Then place on baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the top of the cookies start to look set (no longer let wet).
  • Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then move to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Then the cookies are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store the leftovers in an airtight container or ziplock bag at room temperature for up to 4-5 days.
