Ingredients

Ingredients for recipe - flour, sugar, butter, cream cheese, vanilla, eggs.
  • Butter. The dough will be easier to combine if softened at room temperature.
  • Cream Cheese. Use full fat brick style cream cheese.
  • Vanilla Extract. I recommend using pure vanilla extract.
  • All Purpose Flour. Spoon the flour into a measuring cup so you don’t pack too much into it.
  • Powdered Sugar. I always like to sift the powdered sugar before using. It makes the frosting smoother.

  • Sprinkles. Top the cookies with your favorite sprinkles in the color you prefer.
  • Almond extract. Swap the vanilla extract for almond if desired.

  • Block style cream cheese. Do not use the cream cheese in the tub as the texture is different.
