Instructions
For the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9 inch loaf pan with parchment paper and spray the paper with non-stick cooking spray.
Beat together the softened butter and sugar with a hand held or stand up mixer until the mixture is combined and creamy.
Add in the eggs on low speed, one at a time until combined.
Then mix in the flour and baking powder until just combined.
Juice and zest a large orange. Then gently stir the orange juice and zest into the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 10-15 minutes in the pan and then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Glaze:
While the cake is cooling, mix together the powdered sugar and orange juice until you get a glaze.
Once the cake has cooled completely, drizzle the glaze on top.
Then the cake is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-7 days.
