Oreo Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Salted Butter
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Oreo Cookies approximately 6-7 cookies

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo Cookies into a fine powder with a food processor or blender.
  • Beat the butter in a large mixing bowl with a hand held mixer or stand up mixer until light and creamy.
  • Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.  Then add in the heavy whipping cream until the frosting is a consistency that you can pipe onto the cupcakes.
  • Gently stir in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  • Then the frosting is ready to top on your favorite cake or cupcake recipe and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the frosting in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
