Place the butter and marshmallows in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until the mixture is melted and combined.
Then stir in the cake mix, cocoa powder and vanilla extract.
Then gently fold in the Rice Krispie Cereal until the cereal is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Then pour the mixture into a 9X13 inch baking pan. Spray a piece of parchment paper with a non-stick cooking spray and use that parchment paper to press the mixture down into the pan.
Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave by heating it in 20 second intervals until it’s fully melted.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the Rice Krispie treats.
Let the Rice Krispie treats set at room temperature (1-2 hours). Then the treats are ready to slice, serve and enjoy!
Notes
*Store at room temperature for up to 1 week. Do not store in the refrigerator as the Rice Krispie treats will get dried out.
