Reese's Pieces Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Reese’s Pieces Candy

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and both of the sugars with a hand held mixer or stand up mixer until light and fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and combine.
  • Mix in the peanut butter until combined.
  • Turn the mixer speed to low and gradually add in the flour mixture until the dough is just combined.  Be careful not to over mix.
  • Gently fold in 1 cup of the Reese’s pieces.
  • Then drop the cookie dough onto baking sheets in approximately 1 ½  tablespoon amounts.
  • Place the remaining Reese’s pieces candies on top of the cookies.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are just starting to brown around the edges of the cookies.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then move the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Then the cookies are ready to enjoy!

Notes

Store at room temperature for up to 1 week.  Keep a piece of bread in the container with the cookies to keep the cookies moist.
