Use a hand held mixer to beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, salted caramel sauce and vanilla extract until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
Then gently stir in half of the whipped topping. Then spread this mixture into the pie crust.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
When serving top the pie with the remaining whipped topping. Drizzle with the remaining salted caramel sauce and enjoy!
