Snickers Cake

Snickers Cake is a no fail recipe with chocolate flavor and your favorite candy bars. Gooey caramel, chopped peanuts and luscious frosting make each bite delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups Water
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 11 ounces Caramel Candies unwrapped
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Chopped Peanuts
  • 16 ounces Milk Chocolate Frosting
  • 2 Snicker Candy Bars chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Mix together the cake mix, eggs, water and vegetable oil.  Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.  Bake for 20 minutes.
  • While the cake is baking, heat the caramel candies, milk and butter in a small saucepan over low heat.  Stir the mixture constantly until caramels are melted and all ingredients are combined.
  • Once the cake is done baking, pour the caramel mixture on top, top with the chocolate chips and 3/4 cup of the chopped peanuts.
  • Pour the remaining cake batter on top and bake for 20 more minutes.
  • Remove from the oven.  Allow the cake to cool completely at room temperature.
  • Spread the chocolate frosting on top.  Then top with the remaining chopped peanuts and crushed snicker bars.
  • Then the cake is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate any leftovers, covered, for up to 3-4 days.
