How to make a snickers cake:

Step 1. Start by preheating the oven and preparing the pan with cooking spray. Then combine together the cake mix, eggs, water and vegetable oil in a mixing bowl using a stand mixer. Scrape the sides with an offset spatula.

Step 2. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 3. Mix together the caramel, milk and butter while the cake bakes. Continue to stir the mixture using medium heat until the caramels are melted and all ingredients are combined.

Step 4. After the cake bakes, pour the caramel mixture on top and start assembling the cake.

Step 5. Then top with the chocolate chips and part of the chopped peanuts.

Step 6. Spread the remaining cake batter on top and bake for 20 more minutes. Then remove from the oven and allow to cool completely at room temperature.

Step 8. Finally, top with the remaining chopped peanuts and crushed snicker bars. Slice and enjoy this wonderful cake.
Serving Suggestions
- Whipped Topping. Dollop a generous portion of cool whip on top of each slice. You can also make homemade whip cream.
- Caramel Ice Cream. Top with a scoop of ice cream.
- Snickers on top. Take a few bars snickers and crumble on top.
Pro Tips
- Don’t use flavored peanuts. I do not recommend using honey roasted peanuts or any other flavor.
- Monitor the cake in the oven. Oven temperature varies. It is important to monitor the cake.
- Line the pan with parchment paper. You can line the pan with parchment paper and clean-up is even easier. This also make it convenient to remove from the cake from the pan and cut.
- Refrigerate for clean slices. Chill the cake for 15 minutes to 30 minutes and it is much easier to cut. The slices will look clean cut and pretty.
