FAQs
If you want a thicker milkshake, only use a little bit of milk. This recipe calls for ½ cup milk and it is the perfect amount to make thick milkshakes.
Sometimes, I have added too much milk by accident and my milkshake was too runny. This is an easy fix! Just add more ice cream to get to the desired consistency.
Also, if you do not want a thick chocolate milkshake, add more milk for a thinner milkshake.
Mason jars – We always have a ton of these around and the milkshakes look pretty in them.
Tall ice cream glasses -I love these old-fashioned glasses. They remind me of what you would find at an ice cream shop.
You can also use milkshake glasses.
Make sure you have a good blender. It is worth the investment, and you will save money in the long run. I have this Vitamix blender, and it is pretty old. It is still going strong and works great!
They are pricey but well worth it. However, if that does not fit in your budget, I also like this Waring professional blender. Now, they are not as powerful as the Vitamix but still get the job done.
