Sand Cup Tips
- Use Food Processor – We like to use a food processor to crush the cookies because it is so quick and easy.
- Crush with a Rolling Pin – However, if you don’t have a food processor, you can also crush the cookies in a zip lock bag and rolling pin.
- Layer Ingredients – Add a small portion of the pudding and the the cookie crumbs. Then continue until the cup is full.
- Oreo – Leave cream filling in Oreos when crushing them.
- Dark Oreo – For the speckle sand look, crush in some dark Oreos.
- Vanilla Wafers – You can vanilla wafers instead of Oreos. Graham Crackers is another great option.
- Cream Cheese – You can also do a cream cheese mixture with cream cheese butter and powdered sugar.
- Plastic Cups – Divide the mixture in 8 oz clear plastic cups. It is the perfect size for kids hands and you can get about 15 sand cup to share.
