Pro Tips

  • Room Temperature Ingredients: Make sure cream cheese is softened and pumpkin is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Taste and add more sugar if you prefer a sweeter dip.
  • Chill Before Serving: Letting the dip chill for at least 30 minutes enhances the flavors and thickens the texture.
  • Mix Gently: Overmixing can make the dip too soft; fold ingredients until just combined for best results.
  • Make Ahead: The dip can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the fridge to save time.

Serving Ideas

  • Fresh Fruit: Serve with apple slices, pear slices, or grapes for a healthy option.
  • Cookies: Perfect with graham crackers, cinnamon graham crackers, vanilla wafers, shortbread, or gingersnaps.
  • Crackers: Pair with buttery or cinnamon-flavored crackers for a sweet-savory combo.
  • Pretzels: Soft pretzels or pretzel sticks add a salty crunch that complements the dip.
  • Toast or Bagels: Spread on toasted bread or bagels for a seasonal breakfast treat.

FAQs

Can this Dip be Made in Advance?

Yes, you can make Pumpkin Pie Dip in advance. Since it needs to cool for at 3 hours, I like making it the night before, so it has time to chill in the refrigerator.

How to Store?

Refrigerate any leftover dip in an airtight container for up to 5 days.ย ย We rarely have any leftovers, but with the holiday food we usually have some left. When you are serving your leftovers, don’t forget to setup out the Pumpkin Dip.

Can you Freeze this?

We have not tried to freeze this pumpkin dip. From my experience, dip with cream cheese in it doesn’t freeze well. The texture will change as it thaws out. So we do not recommend freezing it.
