Step 1. Combine the sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon in a medium-sized pot. With a whisk, stir in the eggnog and egg yolks until combined.

Step 2. Make sure the stove is set to medium heat and continue to whisk constantly until pudding is thickened. It should be able to coat the back of a spoon.

Step 3. Remove from the pan from the heat. Then add the heavy whipping cream and confectioners’ sugar.

Step 4. Pour pudding into a medium bowl, and place plastic wrap on top, touching the top of the pudding. Let set in the fridge about 3 hours.

Step 5. It should be thick and creamy now. Just divide the pudding among four small glasses.

Step 6. Top with Whipped Topping and garnish with optional ground cinnamon or ground nutmeg. I like to use fresh Whipped Cream.

- 2 1/4 cup eggnog
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon confectioners sugar
Instructions
- Place sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon in a medium-sized pot. With a whisk, stir in the eggnog and egg yolks until combined.
- Set heat to medium and whisk constantly until pudding is thickened and it coats the back of a spoon, about 5-8 minutes.
