What Is Keto Chocolate Mousse?

It’s a delightful dessert everyone will enjoy while eating keto or low carb. The light and airy texture is amazing. The chocolate flavor tastes so indulgent.

With only a few ingredients and no baking or egg required, it’s so easy to make.

Ingredients

  • Heavy whipping cream: Creates the rich, creamy texture essential for a silky mousse.
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder: Delivers deep chocolate flavor without added sugar.
  • Granular keto-friendly sweetener: Use erythritol or your preferred low-carb sweetener to keep the dessert keto-compliant.
  • Vanilla extract: Adds a subtle sweetness and enhances the chocolate flavor.

Alternative Sweetener Options

  • If the granular sweetener version is not available, you normally can find a powdered sweetener option.
  • Another sugar substitute is liquid stevia.  I haven’t tried it in this recipe before. However, I think it would work if you can’t find a granular erythritol option.
